Oat Milk

More and more people are seeking out milk and dairy alternatives, and often times store bought milk alternatives have a lot of extra ingredients that we don't expect to be in milk. Luckily, homemade alternatives are incredibly easy to make! Here is a super simple oat milk recipe that only takes a few minutes to put together! I love using this oat milk in my coffee since it is creamy and has a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of oats

- 4 cups of water

- 3 dried pitted dates

- A dash of salt

- 1/2 tsp of vanilla


Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (about 45 seconds). Strain liquid through a thin strainer or a tea towel. If using a strainer, strain a second time to get a smoother result. Refrigerate and enjoy!


*Stir or shake before using
