Tropical Green Smoothie

This green smoothie is great because it is sweet, creamy, and best of all -- packed with nutrients! In this recipe, most of the fruits and veggies that I added were fresh, because that is what I had in my house. If you prefer to opt for frozen, just omit the ice cubes in the recipe!



Ingredients

- 1 small banana

- 1/2 cup of frozen peaches

- 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple

- a small handful of spinach (about 10-12 leaves)

- 2 Tbsp low fat peach yogurt

- 2 Tbsp low fat cottage cheese

- 5 ice cubes


Put all ingredients into the blender and blend well. Pour into glasses and enjoy! This recipe will make one large serving, or two small servings.
